Mechanical Engineer needed for an FMCG/Automation Manufacturer based in Rochester who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Mechanical Engineer that takes pride in their work undertaking tasks.
The successful candidate would have a relevant qualification within MechanicalEngineering and have a keen interest in within Engineering.

What the role entails:
Ensure that safe work practices are followed and adhered to
Self-motivated, driven, and able to work without direct supervision
Able to understand mechanical drawings
Verifies conformance of finished work piece to specifications, using measuring and inspection tools as necessary
Drawings are provided from time to time, however using own initiative is essential
What experience you need to be the successful Mechanical Engineer:
Able to operate and maintain lathe, milling machines, guillotine, press break
Sheet metal fabrication all to a high standard
Ability to select appropriate machine and settings for a given task
Performs machine maintenance and minor repair
Welding experience would be ideal but not necessary
