Grafton are recruiting for one of the UK’s market leaders within the loading bay industry are seeking a experienced Industrial Door/Loading Bay Engineer based in the Kent area who is ready to progress their career as to carry out installation, service, maintenance, and repairs to a full range of industrial doors and loading bay equipment

The Role

• Responsible for the installation, service, maintenance, and repairs of client’s range of industrial doors and loading bay products as detailed by the service team and communicated via in house CRM system.

• Ensuring information is provided to the service team via the PDA regarding work completed, further works and parts where quotations and invoices can be raised for the work.

• Aware of H&S legislation concerning door and loading bay equipment as required during PPM visits

• Be available to work as part of our call out rota 1-8 (£125 Standby Fee)

• Carry out full handover of the product and train our customers in the safe use of the equipment.

Essential requirements
* full UK driving license
* IPAF license, CSCS, PASMA (preferable) along with welding, mechanical and electrical experience of working in the industry.
* Have practical experience of industrial doors and associated loading bay equipment (Minimum 5 years)
* Good customer facing skills and is comfortable outlining further work to the client and service team.
* Flexibility of being able to work away from home throughout the UK (if required but not regularly)
