Detailed job description and main responsibilities
In line with the philosophy of the ward/unit the post holder is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care for the identified clients, acting as Named Nurse for service users with complex needs within the service.
The post holder will deliver interventions on an individual basis, providing effective evidence based care to service users. Communication and liaison with a number of disciplines is essential to promote effective delivery of a comprehensive care package to meet service users’ needs.
The post holder will provide support, supervision and direction to junior team members and assist in the smooth coordination and running of the ward.
