We are seeking a financial accountant to join our head office team in Maidenhead, Berkshire – a great move for a someone looking to broaden their experience and gain their first post qualification role in industry.
With responsibility for all aspects of financial reporting, including actuals, budget and forecast for an assigned part/s of our business, you will, ideally, be a graduate with a professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA) plus, 1-2 years’ post-qualification experience in general practice.
The role includes assisting the business by determining specific accounting entries and by providing technical accounting advice – including IFRS 16 (leases), and IFRS 9 (financial instrument), plus the preparation and review of FRS 101/FRS 102 statutory accounts.
You will also be responsible for providing accounting assistance regarding annual impairment reviews, restoration and teardown provisioning and property transactions, as well as assisting in ensuring non-financial reporting requirements are fulfilled and the integrity of our corporate internal control environment is maintained.
The successful candidate will have excellent communications skills and proven ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team. As well as strong attention to detail you will need to be comfortable working with a wide range of people and demonstrate a curious mindset and the ability to develop creative solutions.
