Mathematics teaching role in Wandsworth, South West London.
Rate: £160 – £220 per day depending on experience.
Your new company
Ofsted rated ‘Good’ Secondary School based in in Wandsworth, South West London are looking for a strong teacher of Mathematics who can deliver lessons to KS3 to KS5. You will have the opportunity to work with an already highly reputable school and join a well organised Mathematics’ department. This position is to start from February and last until the end of the Academic year in the first instance.
Your new role
Starting mid or late February, you will be responsible for teaching Mathematics across KS3, KS4, KS5. As this is a long-term assignment, you will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, as well as completing the subsequent marking and assessment of pupils’ work, ensuring all pupils are progressing well within the classroom.
This role will also require you to ensure all behaviour is appropriate and that pupils are achieving to the best of their ability. As this is a long-term position, you will also be required to attend parents’ evenings and other school functions. You will join an Mathematics’ department alongside with few other Teachers of Mathematics.
What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful in securing this position, you must possess Qualified Teacher Status and ideally have experience of teaching Mathematics across KS3, KS4 and KS5. You must be available to start from mid or late February and ideally be able to work through to July 2023, with a real passion and drive to provide a high quality of teaching and therefore contribute to the overall success of the department.
