You will work for a leading firm based in Derry City who are client-focused and driven and who are passionate about the success and career progression of their colleagues. Due to continuous growth they are now looking for an Accounting Technician to join their dynamic team of professionals.
Your new role
As an Accounting Technician, you will work within a dedicated team of experienced accounting staff. Your duties and responsibilities will be varied and mixed to include; client bookkeeping duties; accounts preparation, VAT returns, bank reconciliations, PAYE and CIS returns and sales and purchase ledger reconciliations.
What you’ll need to succeed
- At least 2 years’ experience working in an accountancy firm
- Excellent IT skills and experience using accountancy software
- Ability to work on own initiative and in a team
- Excellent time management with ability to work to strict deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
