Civil Project manager job available for Scottish water projects
Hays Civil construction are recruiting a Project Manager for our client a major contractor working on Scottish water projects. As a Project manager you will be able to lead a Project from engagement to completion and be accountable for many aspects of the delivery, ensuring that all activity is planned and executed to the highest standards.
Key responsibilities will include:
Strategic health, safety and environmental management and leadership to drive the highest standards
Delivery of the Project to the agreed time, cost & quality requirements
Work closely with PMO planning team to build contractual programmes and monitor progress
Work closely with the construction team to ensure targets are understood
Work closely with the commercial team to understand project LBE / Target Cost / monthly forecasting and expenditure through project life cycle
Manage change management during project lifecycle
Drive Risk management for the projects
Project Management of the principal subcontracts
Manage working at risk and ensure the project can be delivered within the desired timescales
Preparing progress reports
Management of the Project team and working with the team to ensure availability of suitably skilled resource
