The Role:

• Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to clients and escalate jobs to 3rd level when required
• Work with the Service Desk Manager to maintain and improve the technical documentation, processes and standards of Illuminate’s service to clients
• Build hardware andconfigure equipment for clients
• Assist the Project and Cyber Manager and/or Service Desk Manager with site visits, client appraisal, internal and external projects and cyber security needs
• Test client backupsmonthly and ensure nightly backups are run
• Identify and conduct preventative maintenance on customer site
• Support service desk staff to recognise sales leads, evaluate them and pass them on to senior staff
• Support and direct theTechnical Apprentice with tasks where required

Benefits:

• Salary £27,000 – £30,000 peryear
• Health insurance after Probation ends

• 29 days holiday
• Work from home

AdditionalPoints:

• This is a permanent position.
• Full time Monday – Friday
• Must have a full UK driver’s licence
• The office is based in Roslin.
