Mechanical Craft Team Member , Mechanical Fitter , Fabricator
Your new role An exciting new opportunity within Hays Engineering has become available for a Mechanical Craft Team Member on a permanent basis in a double day-based role. Shift pattern will be rotating weekly, Monday to Friday with an 42hours total in a week.
As the Mechanical Craft Team Member, you will be involved in supporting the team and team leaders and achieve plant operational/workshop targets, product quality, customer service and health and safety objectives. Ensuring effective engineering service is provided to our manufacturing customers, achieve business objectives.
The role will see you record details of your work activities, using the appropriate information systems.
What you’ll need to succeed You will have experience in a similar role previously and an NVQ Level 3, or equivalent in a relevant trade or have served a recognised apprenticeship. (Certificate will be required) And ideally, an experience of mechanical maintenance within a commercial or heavy engineering environment.
What you’ll get in return You will be in a permanent double days-based position, working Monday to Friday with a salary of £29,848 per annum + 10% shift premium bonus. You will be entitled up to 35 days holiday per year and other company benefits including pension scheme, training, and development opportunities.
