As a Storesperson, you will play a key part within the precision engineering company based in Northampton. They are an internationally recognised company that are now known as one of the most respected sheet metal fabrication and precision engineering companies in Europe.
As a Storesperson, your main responsibilities will be:
*Issuing and ordering stock from a BOM through an ERP/MRP system
*Deliver picked goods lineside
*Conduct stock checks
*Receiving all deliveries and checking goods received
*Keeping detailed records of shortages
*Liaising with suppliers to progress and discuss orders
*Helping to reduce costs
*Managing stock levels
*Collaboration with production to ensure no delays
The successful candidate will bring or have experience with:
*A stores background with procurement knowledge
*Read engineering drawings
*Experience in a manufacturing business
*Experience with an ERP/MRP system
