Data Centre Lead Engineer
Location: Croydon
Reports to: Contract Manager
The Company
You could become an essential part of a market leading Data Centre service provider looking after a new contract acquisition in the Croydon area. This contract is already a well known and prestigious one. The contract has been going through a mobilisation period and now the previous Lead Engineer has stepped up into the Contract Manager role hence the need for this position.

The Position
We are looking for a Data Centre Lead Engineer to join the site in Croydon. You will be in a Monday-Friday days position and will run the shift of engineers.
This role will require someone with previous exposure to a Data Centre or Critical Facilities environments. Ideally you will be a highly technically skilled and experienced Mechanical and/or Electrical engineer. The team are looking for an enthusiastic and well skilled supervisor to run the shift of engineers that will maintain and monitor the infrastructure of the building and ensure that all essential and non-essential tasks are completed to the highest standard.
This would be a great opportunity for someone who wants to make their first steps into management and would be keen to develop further.

Qualifications & Knowledge

• Knowledge of Critical Facilities infrastructure needs and requirements
• Recognised Electrical training
• Willingness to learn and pick up new skills
