Holden Jones Ltd Looking for Accounts Payable Manager at Marlow Full Time

Strong business growth has driven the recruitment of an Accounts Payable Manager to support the Financial Controller in controlling the accounts payable processes, reporting and all associated SLA’s. The role will oversee a team of 3 in AP, but will also have an emphasis of teamwork across the whole finance function. Your principal responsibilities will be:             

• Manage AP function and team for the UK and Ireland
• Maintenance and reconciliation of AP ledgers
• Manage, review and clear all AP invoice queries
• Responsible for preparing all payments runs
• Month end close to tight deadlines
• Ensure correct VAT analysis related to invoices across countries and group companies
• SLA and Performance Management & Reporting
• Recruiting, training, developing & appraisal of team
• Setting objectives for the team and monitor performance
• Implement process improvements

The position requires a focused, experienced AP Leader with proven service delivery teams and the complete 360-degree processes. The department is likely to continue to grow and evolve so exposure to business change will be advantageous. This is a pivotal role within the finance function and you will have a high level of exposure to other managers within the organisation and therefore you will need to have excellent communication skills. The role is hybrid with 3 days in office, dependent upon business needs.
