Job title: Interim HR & Recruitment Officer
Location: Central London (Hybrid Working)
Salary: Circa £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, subject to a pay review
Contract: Fixed Term, 12-14 months (maternity leave cover) starting asap, Full-Time (35 hours per week) – 4 days per week will be considered
I CAN is the UK’s leading children’s communication charity. We run two special schools, design and deliver interventions and train practitioners to work with children and young people, run a helpline and raise awareness of the impact poor speech, language and communication can have on a child’s life chances. About the role
We are looking for an experienced human resources practitioner to join a small HR team providing generalist support throughout the employee life cycle in an organisation with 210-230 staff in three main locations. As the HR & Recruitment Officer, you will provide:
Essentially you will be proactive with great attention to detail, commitment to best HR practice, strong communication skills, an appreciation of the need for confidentiality and an ability to maintain a people-centric approach to processes.
