Due to continued investment, this leading-edge manufacturing business is currently in the midst of a huge recruitment drive and is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their growing team in Pitstone on a contract basis.
The Role
Within the role of Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:
Manage the execution of the work packages identified and ensure the convergence of the delivery plans with customer requirements.
Produce engineering schemes, models and drawings in line with the requirements of the work package.
Prepare drawings and other engineering data required for the manufacturing of the product and data submittal to the customer.
You
To succeed within the role of Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll have experience in a similar position, and you’ll ideally have the following skills:
Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in mechanicalengineering
Excellent knowledge of CAD software and computerised design and analysis methods
Experience with GD&T (tolerance stack up)
In addition, you should also have an understanding of processes: ECRs, Concessions and an awareness of A/C industry standards, regulations and qualification requirements.
