We’re now recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to provide support to the Record to Report (RTR) team and assist with all aspects of the financial accounting and all related financial matters.
In this exciting Assistant Accountant Role, you’ll be in charge of preparing balance sheet account reconciliations and maintenance and preparing and posting of journals (Oracle). You’ll ensure all management information is reported in a timely and accurate manner, whilst maintaining clear and precise records to ensure an adequate audit trail and communicating with all Kier entities, within the Finance Shared Service Centre (FSSC) and Business Units. You’ll also support the business by assisting with ad-hoc queries and investigative work.
What do we need from you?
You’ll have good attention to detail and working towards your accounting qualifications. You’ll have previous experience with month-end accounts, balance sheets and reconciliations. You’ll also have good knowledge of the core financial systems and general accounting procedures, and able to adapt to changing objectives and priorities to deliver effective results.
