Konnect are currently working with a regional house builder on the South Coast who have a fantastic opportunity for a Management Accountant to join their team in Southampton.
The salary is £46,500 plus a Great Benefits Package & Bonus
Responsibilities:
Assist in preparation of monthly managements accounts including profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flows, variance analysis.
Project review reporting
Stock and work in progress valuations • Calculate month end accrual and prepayment journals.
Prepare supporting data and relevant analysis to aid in decision making in an effective and timely manner
Assist with the maintaining and update of the financial forecast model • Issue monthly/ weekly cost reports to Sales Manager, Commercial and Business development teams
Maintain consolidated rolling plot schedule
Weekly & monthly cash reporting
Weekly/Monthly reconciliation of all reservations, sales incentives, deposits and associated costs
Assist with the population of Project on a Page templates and Life of Site reports
Assist/prepare monthly rebate reconciliations and assist with obtaining the relevant information for making the rebate claim
Assist with validation of plot completion statements
Monitor Compliance with schemes such as Help to Buy/Deposit unlock
The ideal candidate must have:
Accounting qualification
Finance background
Experience using Microsoft Excel
