As a PRME, CGI and CIPD accredited Business School, we are seeking to recruit an outstanding individual for an education and research Readership in Leadership, Governance, People Management.

Our Leadership, Governance and People Management Group has a robust reputation for delivering quality courses across our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. With a strong commitment to ensuring an excellent student experience, candidates will contribute to outstanding learning, teaching and research across our programmes. They will have a creative approach to designing and delivering teaching at undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional levels in subject specific and interdisciplinary contexts.
The ideal candidate will be research active with a demonstrable record of quality publications. They will be able to offer a significant contribution to the School’s research profile and generate external income via their field of expertise, building collaborative networks and partnerships of internal and external stakeholders to positively contribute to regional growth.
Candidates will have a sustained track record of integrating research with teaching and learning to deliver an excellent student experience, along with sustained delivery of ambitious and imaginative academic leadership. With the ability to forge strong partnerships across subject areas and disciplines, you will have excellent organisational, collaborative and communication skills. We are particularly interested in candidates specialising in the areas of global leadership, people management, futures, corporate governance, SMEs and MNE Subsidiaries, coaching and mentoring, executive development and talent management, wellbeing, diversity, resilience and sustainability.
