A leading wholesale food distributor and preferred supply partner to over 60,000 customers across the UK are looking for an established HR Business Partner to join their team.
Reporting to the Head of HR, you will be the first point of contact for all HR business as usual activities within the assigned business area, and will work with key stakeholders to support the delivery of the People Plan ensuring business objectives are successfully achieved.
Key responsibilities of a HR Business Partner:
Resourcing & Talent Planning – Partner the site/department leadership team to manage resourcing and talent processes and cost effectively, ensuring they are fit for purpose now and for the future and deliver required outcomes
Learning & Development – Partner MDs, Business Directors and Heads of Departments to establish training needs of the team to meet business objectives. Question, advise & make recommendations about internal & external learning options; supporting them through delivery of the process
Performance & Reward – Manage the implementation of the annual pay review process ensuring legal compliance maintained.
Culture – To develop and maintain an effective ER culture in line with Service Excellence, underpinned by the Commercial Vision, Mission & Values, and in support of optimum, effective and efficient working.
Employee Relations – To be accountable for the delivery of an effective HR service ensuring the basics are delivered with excellence, and to manage all key people metrics including absence, disciplinary, salaries, overtime etc.
Change Management – To work with the Head of HR, acting as change agent to ensure the successful launch and integration of the broader and more extensive strategic projects and other business change programmes.
Requirements of a HR Business Partner:
On offer is a basic salary up to £45,000, a car allowance of £7,100, 25 days holiday, contributory pension and many company benefits.
