Position: Data Entry Support Analyst

Location: Derby (On-site presence required)

Salary: £130 – £156 per day

Duration: Up to 12 months (Potential for contract extension at 6 months)

Role Type: Hybrid (3 days minimum on-site)

Are you a proactive and detail-oriented Data Entry Support Analyst seeking an exciting opportunity in Derby? Our client is seeking talented individuals to join their team for a significant data analysis project. The role involves handling a backlog of pricing data and contributing to financial forecasting tools for quarterly and annual sales forecasts.

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of data management and provide insightful analysis for stakeholders
• Solve data-related problems and ensure data integrity throughout the analysis process
• Assist in the transition of data from Cognos to Oracle Hyperion Planning (OHP) and identify any potential data gaps
• Utilise strong Excel skills for data analysis and presentation purposes
• Collaborate with the team in a proactive manner to ensure project success
• Engage in project management activities related to data analysis and management

Skills/Experience:

• Strong proficiency in data and insight analysis with a problem-solving approach
• Confident in presenting findings and insights to stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude toward work
• Previous experience in data management and analysis using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms (experience with Cognos or OHP is advantageous but not mandatory)

This opportunity requires an immediate start, with an enforced unpaid break during Christmas week. The role will involve on-site presence in Derby with a hybrid work model, with a minimum of 3 days per week on-site
