Mainstay are working with a leading service provider to look for an HVAC/Mechanical Engineer for an exciting new flexible role.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role have served a recognised trade apprenticeship. They must also have a HVAC and/or mechanicalengineering qualification such as C&G or NVQ.
Role
To carry out routine HVAC and/or MechanicalEngineering work, preventative maintenance and repairs
To carry out pre planned maintenance of items of electrical plant and equipment as may be defined and specified
To ensure that various pre planned maintenance schedules are kept up to date and maintained as may be required.
To assist in multi trade support of other members of the FM service team in completing work
To complete the duties of an HVAC/Mechanical Engineer in accordance with their recognised training and qualifications
To carry out fault finding and defect rectification to items of installed plant and equipment as may be defined and specified.
To assist the other members of the maintenance team with their activities as may be required.
To become familiar with the operation and maintenance of the various systems and equipment installed in the whole of the premises as defined or requested.
To carry out all duties assigned to him/her in a safe manner, observing all statutory regulations and the local regulations which may be in force

Candidate
Have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
Previous experience working on a PFI contract is desirable
Hold a HVAC/Mechanicalengineering qualification
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, when required
