As a kitchen assistant for Manor Adventure you need to be able to work well in a team and have the ability to work quickly but efficiently. At meal times you will be rotated around different stations with the rest of the kitchen team from pot washing to serving food to guests, and from cleaning work surfaces to stocking up condiment stations.
You’ll work with a team of kitchen assistants, chefs and the catering manager ensuring you are delivering high quality meals, following strict food and hygiene practices along with high levels of customer service whilst ensuring all guests are served within an allocated meal time.
You will be responsible for : –
Serving meals to guests
Ensuring that the kitchen and servery meet high standards of cleanliness
Assisting with keeping utensils clean and washing of dishes
Have a good level of communication for serving but for also working as part of a team
Complying with Food Hygiene and Health and Safety guidelines
Representing the centre in a professional and friendly manner as the ability to interact with our guests is an important part of the job.
What qualifications or experience do you need?
We welcome applications from people with or without experience as we are able to successfully train suitable people to meet the demands of the job. The key requirement for the job that we are looking for is a real enthusiasm to work in a professional and fast paced kitchen environment.
We are looking for a full time kitchen assistant to join the team for a busy season ahead of us. Start date will be April/May- but possibly earlier. You will need to be available to work a variety of shifts including weekends. These shifts are inline with meal times at the centre.
