A prestigious Freight company based in the Knowsley area are looking for an Import Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis. Our client is looking for a knowledgeable individual who will be able to join their organisation and hit the ground running.

The successful candidate will have experience of Freight Forwarding Import operations and will be working in a similar role. This would suit candidates who are working for a smaller organisation and are keen to join a larger business with more opportunity to develop and progress.

Reporting to the Import Manager, the Import Coordinator will be responsible for:

• Liaising with overseas agents for sea freight import bookings
• Uploading customers bookings to online freight system
• Dealing with customer queries regarding arrival dates and advising of any delays
• Processing full customs entries
• Arranging shipments and haulage
• Passing customers invoices
• Providing quotations

Essential Requirements are:

• Freight Forwarding experience
• Ambitious and keen to progress
• Self-starter
• Able to work well under pressure
