Our client, the UK’s leading independent Engineering and Services business founded in 1921, with a turnover of £500m and 3000 employees, are now looking for a Technical Manager specialising in Building Management Systems (BMS) to join their Engineering team. The successful candidate could be based at any of their UK offices (Leeds, Sheffield, Manchester, Birmingham).
The main purpose of the role is to lead, own and manage the technical risk and opportunities within the business, from inception through to project completion and client handover, focusing on design optimisation, opportunity identification and mitigation of technical risk. Ensure technical compliance with works information, scope, project specification and legislation, undertaking technical management of both internal and external designs.
You will be involved in a range of MEP Building Services projects across the UK for a range of public and private sector clients.

o Understanding of BMS Software
o Knowledge of BMS and PLC systems
o Witnessing of Testing and commissioning

o Cost analysis or Commercial Awareness
