Reporting to the Lead Test Engineer, the Senior Test Engineer is responsible for the test planning, monitoring and integrated NVH testing of the products, sub-assemblies and components in the test laboratory.

Description
The Key responsibilities are-
Key technical resource for vibration testing, both single axis and multi-axis testing, including responsibility for defining test requirements, test procedures, test schedules and test reporting
Develop multi-axis vibration test programs from first concept (Road load data gathering through to vibration rig road simulation)
Be responsible for the development of road load data gathering exercises
Develop NVH testing techniques to meet the requirements of the engineering product teams
Provides technical direction in the areas of NVH and structural testing
Work with the Lead Test Engineer to develop noise matrix test methodologies
Develop and implement new test lab technologies and methods
Profile
The successful candidate will have-
Candidate will have an engineering degree with preferably 5 years of automotive
Experience with fatigue and vibration testing technology
Demonstrate creative thinking and problem solving capability
Be able to work effectively within a multi-discipline team environment
Be willing to travel to support test vehicle field investigations
