Air Freight Freight Business Development Manager tasked with the role of driving revenue growth by identifying and developing new air freight commercial opportunities from potential customers within the UK.

Description

The Ideal Air Freight Business Development Manager who will be reporting into the Regional Freight Manager will have the following tasks and responsibilities:

• Source new business in the Air Freight market across the UK/ potential customers
• Develop and maintain minimum volume targets for imports and exports
• Hit sales calls target KPI’s
• Identify new business opportunities with new and existing customers by developing strong relationships
• Work closely with internal and external teams including Tender Management and Product Management
• Regular meetings with the Regional Freight Manager + Directors
• Commute 1 day a week to Manchester

Profile

The Ideal Air Freight Business Development Manager will have the following skills and attributes:

• Great understanding of Air Freight Logistics (Required)
• Previous sales experience across Air Freight Logistics both imports and exports (Required)
• Great Relationship building skills
• Ability to prioritise and organise / using time efficiently
• Self Starter, initiative, proactive attitude.
• Commute 1 day a week to Manchester

Job Offer
