Job Title: Test Engineer / Commissioning Engineer

Location: Heywood

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum (up to £3,800 per annum working out rate i.e. visiting client sites overseas)

Your new role:

Due to company growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Test Engineer / Commissioning Engineer. This is a great opportunity to test your skills in PLC Programming and machine controls ensuring that machines installed are tested and commissioned to agreed standards. The role is a hands-on role where you will also be involved in providing training and support to Machine Operators at multiple sites on the running and snagging of the machinery with emphasis on health and safety.

Skills, experience and qualifications required: The successful candidate will be HNC and or HND level qualified in electrical engineering or electronic engineering. We are also ideally looking for experience in PLC programming and pneumatic, hydraulic, machine controls and other mechanical systems. It is highly desired that you will also have experience in process or vacuum systems.
