Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the HR Manager will be the first point of contact for all HR matters for a headcount of c.500 across 2 sites, operating in a full generalist remit covering all elements of HR from supporting managers in dealing with staffing issues effectively and implementing process improvements, through to delivering the HR strategy. The HR Manager will have 3 direct reports: HR Advisor, HR Apprentice and L&D Business Partner and will be responsible for coaching, guiding and upskilling the team as well as the below:
The HR Manager will join the organisation at a significant time of growth and change, it is therefore vital that the HR Manager is accustomed to working in a changing, industrial environment. A strong generalist background, CIPD Level 7 qualification and hands on experience of delivering strategies in the areas of recruitment and selection, absence management, employee engagement, employee relations, retention, and performance management.
