Head of Cloud

My exclusive client is an award winning consultancy who specialize in Data and Digital Transformation for a wide variety of clients, whose goal is to deliver high-quality and innovative solutions to improve their data insights and business growth. They are currently experiencing a period of rapid growth and very high demand across the UK and Europe.

They are seeking a Head of Cloud who will take the reigns to lead the creation and development of company strategy, analyzing and improving the current organizational capabilities. This will be through the enhancement of existing growth strategies and implementing new ones, supporting and managing the teams and evaluating overall business performance through analysis of key data metrics.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams of consultants, sales and marketing teams and stakeholders
• Direct, oversee and nurture the team in their daily responsibilities and career growth
• Develop and control of budgets to provide resource allocation and profitability
• Constructing, reviewing and approving project proposals
• Collaborating with sales teams forecasting demand

Skills and Experience Required

Below are some of the skills and experience we are seeking:

• Building and managing a team within your focus area
• Building business plans and tracking investment returns on changes made
• Tracking and delivering large programmes for enterprise customers
• Industry recognised certification within your area of expertise

Desired Skill-Set

The following skills/experience are beneficial to the role:

• Experience working on projects in either AWS or Azure
• Configuration and management experience with version control software
• Amending and writing infrastructure as code
