The Role: My client is a leading research-based charity within the UK, committed to conducting vital work in research, education and healthcare sectors. With over 50 years’ experience and breakthroughs in their field, they are one of the highest regarded charities nationally.
They are seeking to welcome an individual experienced in Information Security to their diverse and friendly team. If you have hands-on technical experience in infrastructure, vulnerability and threat analysis, with knowledge of configuration on various platforms, and, a strong desire to be part of something bigger, this is an ideal role for gaining vast ranges of project experience on the latest tech, with support provided for your chosen career progression.
Responsibilities:
Managing Information Security risks
Developing security controls
Internal and external audits
Liaising with stakeholders at all levels of seniority and technical knowledge
We are looking for some of the below experience:
Hands-on technical background in infrastructure
Threat and vulnerability analysis (Qualys or Microsoft Defender are preferred)
Writing policies, procedure and standards documentation
Log management
Data Protection/GDPR
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
