Intapp Subject Matter Expert

The Team

This is an opportunity to join a friendly and supportive global team responsible for providing expert technical application support & maintenance to a large international user base. In this role you will be reporting to the Intapp Application Lead.Quality of service delivery & support, knowledge of application development, infrastructure design and a willingness to learn are key traits required for this role. Strong problem-solving and a pragmatic approach will be required as well as an ability to work with senior stakeholders in resolving time-sensitive issues quickly and effectively.

The Role

• As a member of the core application teams you will be involved in BAU and projects around the Intapp Applications platform, working with team members to define and deliver a solution for our users.
• Work with the Product Owner and developers to resolve any defects or functional issues within the system.
• Work with the Intapp Product Owner to represent Intapp in all project activities, providing a two-way communication channel for queries, input and feedback.
• Provide in-depth knowledge of business process and reporting requirements to support workshop discussions, user story development, and business decision-making, highlighting opportunities to improve and streamline business processes.
• Review all new requirements documents to validate against existing solution
• Manage the testing function for the Intapp Application and downstream system integrations, including reviewing user stories and ensuring that test plans align to the requirements, assisting with system testing as appropriate.
• Utilise your excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving and analytical skills to provide 3rd line support assistance to the global support team to ensure maximum coverage for the support and resolution of incidents across an international user base within an ITIL framework.
• Work closely with the support teams throughout the product lifecycle to ensure that any new functionality is fully tested, supportable and aligns with best practices before release into our production systems. Any other reasonable duties requested by the internal team leaders

Skills and Experience Required

• A recognized Business Analysis qualification (e.g. BCS (UK) or PMI (US) Certificate or Diploma in Business Analysis or equivalent)
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills and SQL experience are required
• Significant experience in a technical role performing root cause analysis
• A good understanding of the Intapp Open solution and the client and matter inception process in the context of a law firm is essential
• Experience in a legal or professional services practice, specifically the compliance and finance functions, is required
• Experience working in a SAP environment is desirable

• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills required

• Experience with large scale IT projects including systems integration and change management
• Understanding of project management methodologies, architectural frameworks and key ITIL disciplines
• Experience with business process design and notation tools such as BPMN or UML is desirable
• A self-starter with a demonstrable ability to multi-task across various projects and a strong desire to learn
• A team player is required
