Location: Bath and North East
To maintain, inspect, repair, and test the two prescribed standards in accordance with the Department for Transport (DfT), manufacturer and the Operator licence. This is a career graded post and the post holder will move to the next grade once experience and on the job- training has been met.
Qualifications:
Vocational qualification level 3 or equivalent proven industry experience evidenced by verifiable references
Ability to complete the training and pass the MOT qualification to class iv, v, and v11 within first 6 months of employment
A driving licence is an essential pre-requisite of this employment and a full clean Category B, & D driving licence is required.
Ability to cope with conflicting demands and deadlines.
Experience:
Significant practical experience of working within a vehicle repair workshop, giving rise to a variety of technical skills and sound understanding of the services available, work practices and processes relevant to the role.
Knowledge and understanding of technical standards, safe working practices and legislation for the operation of a vehicle workshop.
Experience in the use of vehicle lifting platforms.
