Nurse Seekers are proud to be working on behalf of a family run nursery who are looking to employ a Level 2 & 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioners for their quality setting based near Cranleigh, Surrey. The Nursery Nurse have a passion for childcare and be enthusiastic and driven to take on the responsibility to provide young children the best early years education and care needed for their development in a stimulating learning environment.
You are Required to have:
A minimum of a level 2 or 3 qualification within childcare
Sound understanding of child development and of children’s needs along with the EYFS statutory framework.
A positive approach to professional development
Responsibilities
To be involved with the planning of Early Years Foundation Stage planning in your room, ensuring it is up-to-date and followed each day.
To provide developmentally appropriate activities for the children in your care, considering and respecting Montessori philosophy and activities at all times.
To ensure the individual needs of the children in your care are recognised and met. To liase and work with all parents in a professional manner at all times.
To talk appropriately and professionally. To support and work with other staff members.
To work in a non-discriminatory way in keeping with the equal opportunities policy of the setting.
To keep confidential any information which relates to the children, families or other staff members.
To undertake all duties as specified by your Room Manager and/ or Manager.

This position is based on four- or five-day weekly shifts from the hours of 7:50am to 6pm all year round.
