One Property Recruitment are searching for a Service Charge Accountant for a fully-home based opportunity with a well-established managing agent based near Bristol.
Do you want a more flexible working day? One that allows you the autonomy to manage your diary more freely with no obligation to go into the office. This position would suit someone with experience managing a portfolio of accounts preferably within the residential sector, however my client is open to commercial backgrounds also. You will be confident in preparing accounts from a service charge perspective specifically and be confident dealing with both leaseholders and clients accounts queries. Your core duties include:-
- Working closely with the property management team to produce and review budgets with accuracy
- Preparing year-end accounts
- Reconciling accounts; providing analysis and producing relevant expenditure/income reports
- Raising service charge demands
- Setting up new properties on the company system
- Complying with annual audit requests
- Production of reports as requested
- Liaising with stakeholders and responding to requests as needed
My client is fully set up with the structures in place to provide you plenty of support remotely with regular team zoom meetings and bi monthly team building days to help you fully integrate with the team. My client offers a friendly and collaborative team culture and will sponsor your ACCA exams and any further qualifications, should you desire. My client is hugely supportive with respect to system training and is looking for someone with proven experience liaising with key stakeholders regularly. I am looking for someone with the following skills/attributes:-
- Up to 3 years’ service charge experience in a residential capacity
- Experience using QUBE/Propman software ideal, but not essential
- Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong communicator on all platforms
