An opportunity to join a fresh produce food wholesaler that supply all areas of the foodservice industry. .
They are recruiting for a Head of Operations to take on senior management responsibility of circa 80 employees, 6 of which will be direct reports (Transport Manager, Warehouse Manager, Heath & Safety Manager, Customer Service Manager, Administration Manager).
The main purpose of the Head of Operations is to manage and develop the operations teams and enhance the critical relationships and processes affecting the sales team and region in order to facilitate the creation and delivery of profitable service to customers and so achieve the budget for the depot.
They are ideally looking for a dynamic and passionate individual to bring fresh leadership concepts to the team. As well as being an outstanding leader of people, you will have excellent commercial acumen coupled with a customer centric ethos to drive forward operational efficiencies to deliver service excellence to customers.

An ideal Head of Operations would have the following experience:
Previous experience in an senior level role managing Warehouse and Transport functions.
Experience of joint partnerships with a sales leadership team.
3 years + at Operations level.
Proven experience of developing people and or high performing teams.
