Page Personnel are recruiting a Credit Controller to join a well established business based in Sale.

This role is suitable for someone with knowledge of credit control, a strong telephone manner, good communication and organisation skills.

Page Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a well established, specialist business operating from their offices in Sale.

The role of Credit Controller will report directly into the Credit Control & Risk Manager.

Description

As a Credit Controller your duties will include:

• Ensuring timely and efficient collection of balances from customers
• Dispute resolution
• Assessing risk and credit applications
• Query resolution and escalation where necessary
• Proactively chasing overdue funds
• Reviewing bad-debt write off requests
• Reviewing customer accounts for contract termination, suspension and reactivation
• Reviewing the sales ledger and identifying accounts to be passed for debt recovery

Profile

The successful candidate will:

• Have a proven track record within credit control
• Have experience of dealing with high volume accounts
• Have excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
• Be confident in their ability to handle difficult queries
• Have exceptional attending to detail
• Have strong IT skills including MS Word and Excel
