As a General Ledger Accountant you will be reporting into the UK Finance Manager. You will be responsible for all month end duties and be a key point of contact within the team based in Salford.

Description
General Ledger Accountant duties will include:
Posting month-end closing entries
Performing account reconciliations
Reviewing receivables and payables including cash flows
Assisting with year-end audits
Cooperating with other internal departments
Dealing with ad-hoc queries from internal & external contacts.
Profile
The successful candidate will:
Have experience in General Ledger Accounting
Have some experience of sole responsibility for month end and annual duties
Have previous supervisory experience – desirable
Be proficient in Excel
Have experience in Sage / SAP operating systems – desirable
Have IFRS knowledge – desirable
