Support and maintain effective 2LoD oversight of the risks and controls environment through effective identification and reporting of operational risk exposures and mitigating activities. Provide in-depth understanding of risks around adoption and migration to Cloud, in banking digital transformation space.
The difference you will make
Delivering oversight, advisory and guidance on all risks related to Cloud technologies.
Supporting as needed the digital/technology transformation of the bank from a technical risk management perspective.
Developing effective and collaborative relationship with all 1LoD and Group key stakeholders.
Acting as SME across risk areas of specialism, regarded throughout risk and key business areas as the first point of call for advice
Bringing together a holistic picture of the technology risk across Santander UK and to enhance the risk management framework and tools to better capture and report on technology risk
Maintaining up-to-date in-depth industry and technical expertise in the areas of focus.
What you will bring
Significant experience on cloud technologies including the design, implementation, and assessment of various operating (Public/Hybrid) and service models within AWS and Azure.
Hands-on experience with Cloud Architecture/Infrastructure, Security etc.
It would be nice for you to have
Experience in implementing industry control frameworks (CSA CCM, NIST, or equivalent)
Certified Solutions/Security Architect (or equivalent) for AWS/Azure
Industry certifications like CCSP, CCSK etc.

This role is permanent and will be based in London with flexibility working from home.
