At Pasta Evangelists, we deliver fresh pasta dishes of restaurant quality across the UK. We provide our customers with fresh, handmade pasta, the finest sauces & beautiful garnishes from Italy, inviting them to prepare a 5* pasta dish in the comfort of their own home.
Whilst we’re mainly an online business, selling our pasta through our website, Deliveroo and online retailers, Pasta Evangelists is also the only pasta brand in Harrods where we have our iconic flagship fresh pasta counter and restaurant.
What we are looking for:
● A hard-working, energetic sales assistant to work on at our fresh pasta counter team, in the world’s most iconic and luxurious department store, Harrods.
● Minimum one year counter, deli, restaurant or retail experience. ● The ability to work under pressure.
● Excellent organizational skills.
● Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and ensure that all duties are completed in a timely manner.
● Be able to follow all instructions and comply with food health and safety regulations.
What you’ll do:
● Ensure the standards with regards to preparation and presentation of the counter are adhered to at all times.
● Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness and maintenance of furnishings and equipment.
● Ensure you are operating world-class service standards that showcase the brand.
● Maximize sales opportunities through excellent service and upselling techniques.
● Project a positive and professional image to customers and employees.
● Have complete and thorough menu knowledge, both food and drink knowledge.
What we can offer:
● Prorated 28 days of paid annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays)
● Competitive salary, £12 an hour guaranteed (with service included) no matter how bad the sales, with an over distribution of service charge and on target earnings up to £15 per hour and anything in between depending on sales levels. The principle is simple: the more we earn, more you earn.
