Operations Manager

Monday to Friday – (8-5)
Exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to drive the development of this national company providing excellent services to customers across the country.
Duties include:
Managing day to day operations at an allocated site, meeting productivity and budget targets, providing leadership and effective management.
Ensuring full, cost-effective service provision at all times, forecasting and planning for busy periods and weekends.
Always being on the lookout for opportunities to increase growth within the business.
Working effectively with IT and Customer Service colleagues to ensure core systems are consistent across the site.
Working with senior management to develop a forward thinking, proactive culture.
Ensuring property and resources are used and maintained as per company policy, with maximum efficiency.
Building and maintaining great working relationships with Sales and Customer Service colleagues at other sites to ensure customer service is always excellent.
The successful candidate will have:
Solid experience in a management role within a “blue collar” logistics environment.
Understanding of change management and site development from a systems and processes perspective.
Good knowledge of the plumbing and drainage industry, both B2B and B2C.
Experience of leadership and development, and a target driven approach.
Good communication and numeracy skills with the ability to collate and write effective reports.
Tons of resilience, tenacity and drive.
A dedication to focusing on customers and ensuring excellent customer service.
Confident IT skills, particularly MS Office.
