Geo-environmental Consultant – Newport

Salary: £22k – £30k Depending upon experience

Penguin Recruitment is proud to be representing an independent Environmental and Land Remediation Consultancy in their search for a Geo-environmental Consultant to assist in providing high-quality some of the UK’s leading construction companies, institutional investors and lenders, playing a key role in unlocking challenging brownfield sites. My Client works on a proactive approach to their Client’s encounters and bringing together the disciples of flood risk, earthworks, waste management, geotechnics, contaminated land assessment and sustainability to provide high value solutions.

Should you join my client, you will be working closely with clients and a solid team. It is expected that applicants will need experience within the environmental consulting industry and previous experience in:

Supervise on-site ground investigation works.

• Have experience in working alongside project managers and/or client construction managers,
• Working with specialist consultants to deliver projects timeously and to very high standard.
• Writing Phase 1 & 2 Environmental Assessments and Remediation Strategies.
• Developing Materials Management Plans on behalf of developers and construction companies.
• Undertake site surveys and site inspections

You must hold a full, clean UK driving license.
