Senior Acoustic Consultant – Manchester
Penguin Recruitment is proud to be representing a leading UK based multi-disciplinary environmental consultancy in their search for an established Senior Acoustician to assist on a variety of noise assessments for residential, waste, commercial, industrial, energy and mineral schemes! You will work on developments ranging from single property residential developments through to large scale industrial schemes – this is an excellent opportunity for an Acoustician who wants to develop their project experience.
This role can be based in either Manchester or Sheffield and will offer flexible working options.
Daily duties:
Undertake noise assessments and surveys.
Preparation of fee proposals.
Continued professional development.
Noise modelling work using software including CadnaA.
Prepare and complete technical reports.
Liaise with clients, local authorities and engineers regarding project requirements.
Assisting Junior Consultants.
Candidates should have a minimum of 1 years’ commercial experience working in a similar position! It is expected that you are keen to develop your skills and are an excellent communicator. Applicants should be degree qualified in Acoustical Engineering or another relevant discipline with IOA Membership.
