Senior Acoustic Consultant – North West
Penguin is currently working with a reputable Environmental Consultancy in the North West region of England. My client specialises in Acoustics and Air Quality & works on cross-discipline projects including HS2, planning applications, cinemas, residential schemes, and other exciting developments. They are currently seeking a Senior Acoustician to join the team; they offer hybrid set-ups so candidates across the North West are urged to apply. You will be supported throughout your career and will be working on projects which will include environmental noise surveys & building and architectural acoustic assessments.
Candidates should have demonstrable experience undertaking BS4142 and BB93 assessments as you’ll be assisting junior consultants in mentoring and training. Experience in sound insulation testing is beneficial but not essential.
All applicants should hold a degree in Acoustical Engineering or have a post-graduate qualification such as the Institute of Acoustics Diploma! A full UK driving licence is required for this position.
My client has had a large influx of work over the last several years so is seeking an Acoustician who can take on some managerial responsibilities and undertake other duties including:
Noise surveys
Report writing
Fee proposals
Team management
Project management
