Lead Classic Car Vehicle Technician

• Location: Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire.
• Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30am to 5:00pm.
• Basic Salary: up to £50,000 p.a. (depending on experience).
• Contract: Full Time, Permanent.

Our client is a prestigious automotive company; their business is dedicated to classic car service and restoration and they are looking for a Lead Vehicle Technician with a passion for all things classic in the automotive world!  

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of vehicles 1950-1970’s Mercedes and ideally Aston Martin and Jaguar of the same era too, a genuine love of classic cars and be able to work independently as well as lead a team of Technicians.  

Requirements for the Lead Classic Car Vehicle Technician Role:

• Previous classic car restoration experience.
• Must have driving licence.
• Electrical fault finding experience.
• Fabricating components.
• Repairing NLA components.
• Excellent Mechanical knowledge of classic cars.
• Engine & Gearbox rebuilding.
• Fault finding and fault rectifying.

You will also have a good attention to detail, a desire to meet high standards of quality and a drive to deliver excellent results for our customers.

You will be responsible for the other Vehicle Technicians, helping them solve issues so working independently and as an effective member of a small team is essential.
