Are you an accounting graduate looking for a fantastic opportunity? A leading third-party logistics business is now looking for their next rising star!

This is an amazing opportunity for a graduate or an accounting candidate that has 12 months plus experience within a finance position. This Management Accountant role will give you the platform to build a career with a company and progress within. For the right candidate there will be support on offer towards a CIMA qualification!

The Duties of the Management Account Position:

Assisting the Finance Manager in the day-to-day site activities to include:
Review of financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports.
Budgeting and forecasting.
Balance Sheet accounting.
Statutory and external reporting.
Month End activities – Ownership of some delegated tasks.

Technical Competencies

Relevant experience in a similar finance role/graduate
Experienced user of ERP systems (preferably SAP) with strong analytical skills.
Advanced Excel skills.
High attention to detail.
Highly numerate and analytical in approach.
Efficient and able to work on own initiative as an independent worker and with minimal direction.
Project-oriented and able to manage several tasks simultaneously.
Strong presentation skills.

Effective team worker and key contributor to projects.
