As a result of continued success and an ongoing programme of strategic growth, they are now seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Field Service Condition Monitoring Engineer to complement their established and professional Northwest Field Service Team.

As a Field Service Condition Monitoring Engineer, you will create value for external customers by offering best in class condition-based maintenance solutions across the Northwest Region, assisting in the identification of your customer’s critical assets, highlighting appropriate leading indicators of failure and selecting the best Condition Monitoring techniques to monitor these. Working closely with the sales team and customers to understand customer needs and always looking for ways to meet these through existing and new capabilities, you will also work with other stake holders to create a best-in-class customer experience with regards to all aspects of technical support.
You will deliver a range of condition monitoring solutions to the customer, including Vibration Analysis and Monitoring, Thermography and Lubrication Service delivery, and will own the individual customer experience including collection of data, completion of the analysis (after further training) and production of the customer report, following up by de-briefing the customer regarding highlighted area.
You will be a subject matter expert in a range of Condition Based Monitoring techniques and the ‘go to’ person for specific technologies both internally and externally and will support the rest of the technical function’s knowledge in aligned product groups, i.e., have a good understanding of the solutions portfolio and assist with specifying products based on customer needs. Skilled in both developing and sustaining excellent customer relationships to ensure contract longevity, you will also be adept in identifying additional potential sales opportunities and work with the sales teams to deliver these.
To be considered for this varied and challenging Condition Monitoring Engineer role it is envisaged that the successful candidate will be qualified to at least HND level or above in a relevant electrical, electronic or mechanical engineering discipline and VA1/2 qualified, with at least 3+ years Condition Monitoring experience, gained in either a manufacturing or maintenance environment with strong technical knowledge and excellent customer facing and communication skills at all levels and ideally based around the Manchester region.
