Key Accountabilities
Attract/secure new business ensuring we keep ahead of the competition and meet our goal of continued growth and improved profitability.
Pro-actively serve and develop our existing relationships with our customers, to ensure we can maximise growth and maintain a positive and profitable relationship
Commercial understanding will be essential.
Represent and promote the Owens Group BRAND and to influence/advise Line Manager/Directors on strategic issues/opportunities
To be successful the Business Development Executive will need to be able to develop successful working relationships with all stakeholders. Taking ownership and accountability is key for this role.
Specific Qualifications/ Job Training
Experience in a Sales/Commercial/Customer facing environment.
Specific Experience
Commercial awareness of operations and business reporting
Strategic Planning.
Specific Skills
“People Skills” is a key requirement – the ability to make a connection and to adapt. Presentation and communication skills at all levels.
PC Literacy
Company/Industry Knowledge
A sound understanding of the Distribution/Logistics industry is desirable – however full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
