Prospero Teaching Looking for Mathematics Teacher Required in Manchester at Manchester, Greater Manchester Full Time
We are working alongside a large, over-subscribed secondary school in Manchester who are looking for a full time teacher of Mathematics from after May half term until July, teaching various classes in key stage 3 & 4.
Our school is a “good” school and is based in Manchester, and is fairly easy to get to by tram (main line stations within a ten minute walk), and with several bus routes stopping nearby. The school is led by a strong, forward thinking SLT who are firm believers of positive praise and recognition; but there is support in place and an exceptional “on call” system, which staff are encouraged to use when needed.
The Maths department is an established department and this supply position is to join a supportive team. Results are consistently high and the school has recently undergone extensive renovation and improvements. Our school has a great reputation in the local area and is consistently oversubscribed.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
Location – Manchester
Position – KS3/4 Mathematics Teacher
Start date – May 2022
Likely Duration – 1/2 a term
Contract type – long term
Full time/part time -Full time
Minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate is £131.86 per day
Hours – 8:20 am – 4pm (full day)
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
PGCE in Secondary Mathematics OR equivalent route to QTS in Secondary Mathematics
Hold a Mathematics-related degree at a good classification.
Be available immediately
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
