Protocol Looking for Building Services Engineering Lecturer OR Assessor at Bath, Somerset Full Time
Protocol are working closely with a Further Education College based in Bath in their search for experienced Building Services Lecturers and Assessors. The positions will be working with full time students and apprentices on their level 3 and HNC/ HND studies in Building Services Engineering.
The role: The role is offering full time hours on a permanent basis. You will be delivering high standards of teaching and learning and monitoring assessment processes in accordance with examination requirements. Along with delivering up to L3, HNC and HND Building Services, Science and Engineering work programmes using appropriate teaching methods. Courses will include units on the BTEC Nationals and Higher Nationals within construction industry topics with special relevance to Building Servicers Engineering (Level 3 National Diploma in Building Services Engineering – Electrical and HVAC, Level 4 HNC Building Services Engineering, Electrical and HVAC).
The person: We are therefore seeking passionate individuals with backgrounds in a range of Building Service Engineering subject areas (Electrical/ HVAC/ Engineering). The ideal candidate will have experience either teaching or assessing students from level 3 to HNC/HND Levels and a track record of success in an educational establishment. A teaching qualification or assessors award are desired but individuals with a strong industry background and the willingness to attain this will also be considered.
