IT Project Manager
IT Project Manager– FULLY REMOTE – 6 month – UK wide – OUTSIDE IR35 (Agile, Waterfall, MS Project) – Good rates
Global manufacturer requires an IT Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years experience to take full responsibility for the delivery of a number of projects within 3 key programmes – HR / Digital, Supply Chain and Finance / Procurement where you will be accountable for the definition, documentation and successful delivery of projects of varying complexity – ensuring time, cost and quality parameters are agreed, monitored and met. You will have a proven track record of managing both large single projects and multiple concurrent smaller projects whilst controlling commercial and budgetary aspects in large organisations.
In this role, the management of virtual project teams, financial budgets, risks and issues and stakeholder management will be top of your agenda, therefore strong leadership skills with a positive, proactive, flexible approach and can-do attitude will be key. You will be responsible for ensuring allocated projects are delivered to agreed timescales and cost, fit for purpose and successfully handed over to the support teams within agreed service levels, leading the virtual project teams ensuring they are motivated, focussed and are aware of their specific timescales. You will maintain knowledge of agreed Agile and Waterfall methodologies (and MS Project) ensuring projects operate within agreed tolerances, processes and SLA’s, tracking risks, issues, actions and budgets accurately during the lifecycle of projects escalating issues where appropriate to the project sponsor, also ensuring all resources required for projects are proactively scheduled with the appropriate resource managers and that any third-party relationships required to deliver projects are managed effectively.
You will create all project documentation including mandates, project plans, highlight reports, closure and lessons learnt document and provide up-to-date and accurate project status information to the Project Sponsor on a regular basis. You will have excellent documentation, presentation, communication, Microsoft Project and influencing skills with the ability to form and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
This role is WFH and will include locations including Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, West Midlands, Humberside but anyone residing in the locality of the following locations would be ideally placed and can work from the offices should they want to. Commutable from Peterborough, Lincoln, Spalding, Boston, Grantham. Melton Mowbray, Stamford, Kings Lynn, Sleaford, Kings Lyn, Leicester, Lincolnshire
