The Business Manager will provide overall strategic leadership and management at a two-school federation level regarding all aspects of finance, HR, administration and operations support. The post holder will provide leadership, management and development of the Federation’s committed administration and premises team.
You will have a solid background in leading and motivating colleagues and developing strategies to improve the support services of a school or equivalent setting and be able to confidently make independent decisions on operational issues.
To be part of our vibrant, multicultural and happy Federation, you should have:
• CSBM/DSBM qualification or equivalent business/financial management qualification
• Strategic insight
• Working experience of HR management
• Knowledge of ICT systems, including SIMS/Budget software
• The ability to manage workloads under pressure, prioritise and problem solve
• Experience and ability to manage a team
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• A commitment to whole school development
• A commitment to the ethos of the schools that is inclusive and inspirational
• Initiative and creativity
• Understanding of Health and Safety legislation and how this relates to school building management
